It's still surprisingly ridiculous that the PS4 isn't backwards compatible... but that's a different story.
Yes, you should. I would've said no if it weren't for you mentioning multiple Nintendo games that you liked that are either coming out soon or are in known development. However, the end decision is up to you, of course.
