Had the 3DS since Ocarina of Time 3D in July(?) 2011. Got the game and the system on the game's release date. Still before the price-cut, so I have the Ambassador games, and it's an Aqua-blue colored system.

I have nine games up until now, but there's more I want right now and more I know I want in the future. Games I have are:

  • Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
  • Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Mario Kart 7
  • New Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Luigi's Mansion 2
  • Kid Icarus Uprising
  • Star Fox 64 3D
  • Resident Evil: Revelations
I'm planning to get Layton & The Azran Legacy and Fire Emblem Awakening of those that are released, plus I'm somehow interested in Bravely Default which is a rare kind of game for me to be interested in. In the future I'll get at least Yoshi's Island from the top of my head.
I like all those games, one more than the other, but the best one, discounting Ocarina of Time because it's a remake and everything would lose against that game anyway, is Resident Evil: Revelations.

The hardware of the 3DS is good enough, it does what it needs to do well and the 3D effect is top notch. I know the Vita is supposed to be more powerful and all, but seriously I don't care in the slightest and I haven't seen much that so much better than the best of what's on 3DS anyway. It's 95% about the games, 5% about the hardware and 0% about all the extra features like internet, camera and stuff like that.

3DS
Hardware: 80
Software: 90

3DS is quickly shaping up to be my favorite handheld system overtaking the GameBoy Color. Sadly it would've already been that if A Link Between Worlds was half as brilliant as Link's Awakening.
