Well Wii U is the cheaper one this holiday season, has more games and actually has stock. So it could be a system of choice indeed, but more likely due to lack of stock of its counterparts rather than anything else.
Most of the ps4 and Xbox ones will be recycled sales this Christmas so probably won't count towards global totals, ie purchased from consumers by other consumers, or brought from extortionate pawn shops which actually offer higher trade in value than their launch prices.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
