The XBox 360 was a dissapointment overall for me. I enjoyed Kameo and Tomb Raider Legend though. Dead or Alive 4 IMO is pretty good as well if you are into fighting games, me and my girlfriend played that game the most.

Gears of War, IMO is seriously overhyped, I simply expected much better from Epic. I played the single player game through waiting for something to blow my mind, but instead several parts of the single player campaign I found to be very annoying. Still a nice game overall mainly due to multiplayer, but apart from the graphics doesn't come close the longlasting fun I have with Resistance Fall of Man, however if you are interested in shooters Rainbow Six: Vegas is a bit like Gears but seems to offer far more depth, however I've only played the demo though. (IMO Rumble Roses is crap, Burnout is good)

Demos of DOA4, Burnout and R6:Vegas are available for free through XBox Live, I think they are well worth checking out. If you are into RPGs I recently bought Oblivion for the PS3, a very big longlasting game and I think overall the best XBox 360 / PS3 title currently available (note, the game has no multiplayer though!). Personally I see little use in owning a XBox 360 since I have a PS3, the Halo series and Gears of War aren't exactly my piece of cake and the hardware seems to be very unreliable based on personal experience and everything I've read on the internet.

I hope you will enjoy your XBox 360 though and have more luck than others!
