Actually, the graininess was added purposely. But I agree, it is one of the worst looking movies of the Blu-ray library.

I might suggest an animated movie, they are probably the best to compared on DVD and Blu-ray. Cars for example looks amazing in 1080p.

 Happy Feet, Cars, Night at the Museum, Ratatouille, 3:10 to Yuma, and the Spiderman's all are on the upper end of good looking movies.
