I classified Fushigi Yuugi with sailormoon along time ago, Because of all the girls raving about it. >.<
I dont think I can ever get into it.

I have Air on DVD, but I only made it till Ep 4 till it lost my interest, I loved the dog though.
I might get back to it one of these days.

 

I can't believe it took so long for someone to recommend Fushigi Yuugi.  If you're looking for a romance/fantasy show, this is a must-watch.  WATCH IT.

Ayashi no Ceres is another interesting show from the same original author.  Worth seeing.

I'll echo other recommendations for Chobits, and I'll throw in my own recommendation for Kaleido Star.  Give it a chance; it might surprise you. 

For some reason I thought fushigi yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres was the same series >.<
with that guy with "Demon" written in his forhead.
I kinda liked the guy that never stops smiling. name starts with Chi I think.
