every day in belgium there is a band still making music for the english soldiers. japanese are still thanking fallen soldiers.


USA is also pretty hardcore about that stuff

Canada treats their veterans with a great deal of respect too.

Personally, much more for the WWII era stuff more than modern wars. No one has a beef with Canada, and we don't play anywhere near as an important role in modern warfare as we used to. I feel like if you join the Canadian army now, you're just asking for trouble. Sucks if you die but what did you expect? You went out of your way to choose to do this.
