Please note:
- Overall average is based on the aggregate site (Metacritic or OpenCritic) using the most reviews. GameRankings is now defunct but I'll keep the data I gathered included.
- Yes, I did actually work out the actual averages to two decimal places for all the Metascores to avoid the weighting system. Same with OpenCritic.
- No remasters or expansions etc. Only counting the original release or a full remake, in the case of cross-generation releases I will include the newer platform.
- If a game is later released on PC but remains console exclusive then it'll remain included.
- Sorry if I'm missing something, don't think I am but if you can find an exclusive game that scored over 90% on Metacritic or OpenCritic make sure it's the aggregate using more reviews then I'll add it in.

Some observations:
- Uncharted 2 is the highest rated PS exclusive ever.
- With 14 90%+ exclusive games the PS2 is on top, followed by the PS1 with 11, PS3 with 10 and finally PS4 with 7.
- The Last of Us is the highest rated debut for PS exclusive game/franchise.
- God of War 2018, 1, 2 & 3 are the top 4 most acclaimed hack 'n slash games ever.
- Gran Turismo & Gran Turismo 3 are the top 2 highest rated racing sims.
- LittleBigPlanet is the highest rated side-scrolling platformer.
- Killzone 2 is the first and only PS exclusive FPS to average 90%+.
- Naughty Dog are the only developer to have released a 90%+ exclusive on every PlayStation home console.
Q: Which PlayStation home console has your favourite exclusives?
For me personally it's the PS3 with God of War III, The Last of Us, LittleBigPlanet & Uncharted 2 being in my top 15 games ever. The sheer amount of great exclusives on PS3, even those that didn't hit 90%+, gives it the edge over the PS4 for me. That said my favourite PS exclusive is God of War for PS4 and I also love Horizon: Zero Dawn, Bloodborne & Uncharted 4 are awesome too.
