So i'll be spending more time actually racing than in the menu's, and not having to follow guides to find out which 1 out of those 20 available cars might actually give me a fighting chance on the track this time?
Good.
GT5 is a fine racing game and all that, but boy do you have to fook around a lot in GT5 ensuring you have the right car for a race (it tells you what car is required to take part in a race, then you have to go find it in the bloody car makers showroom, sometimes only to discover it's not even there for you to purchase, and you have to get lucky and hope ones for sale either online or in the second hand store)
I even remember one event (ain't finished career mode yet, but have put a solid amount of time in and all series are open, are there more weight specific events to come?) where your car could be no more than 1200KG or something like that, had to follow a guide to make sure i reduced the right car to 1200 and thus didn't waste thousands more ££££.
Following guides comprehensively in a racing game? shouldn't be happening.
GT5 menu's are a clustermuck.
GT6 could be just what i needed to get me back on board.
