Fire Emblem: Awakening. It was my first game in the series, and it was just so damn good. I had never played a SRPG, but I got really into Awakening. Awesome game.

Last of Us was good, but honestly it didn't leave me satisfied. The ending was cool, but I just wasn't...thrilled with it. Really, really good game, but something about it just didn't click with me.

Last of Us is something new which never been done before with emotional attachment and the experience like we are in that world ourself. You seem to live more RPG games which lets to spend and grind more time on the game to have fun instead of giving a experience in short time. So, i think you do like games like games that makes you to addict to the game for long time instead of providing a experience in short time.

No offence, just saying beacuse of your commnet about last of US. Last of us was a new thing which never happened before and is great. No other developer could do such a feat with a new IP.

As excellent as The Last of Us is, I disagree that it's unique in the emotional attachment department; Bioshock Infinite did this as well, with Elizabeth.

The Walking Dead did it even earlier, with Clementine. If that's not enough, how about Ico and Yorda? And in 1992, a masterpiece known as Dragon Quest V became one of the first mainsteam games to have a playable marriage, along with Fire Emblem 4 a few years later.

Speaking of Fire Emblem, Awakening made me care about several female characters. If I'm going to measure quality though emotional involvement, I'd say Fire Emblem wins handily. But that, of course, is subjective.
