Microsoft is consistently crapping the bed, so I wouldn't be surprised if Sony pulls ahead this time. The rise of PC gaming would have made me think it wasn't likely for PS4 to overtake PS3, but tipping the scales might change things up, whereas this generation they were pretty neck and neck.
