I can understand people saying "they are optional, you can still grind for rewards"

But its just disheartening to play like some 500+ hours all in order to get to some car you wanted and then having 1,000 spoiled adults/kids using it for months cause they popped down $100 on it.

Makes me not want to even try. Imagine if you could buy achievement or trophy's with microtransactions. How cool would platinum trophy's be then. You worked your ass off to get your 10 plat trophies and you some other gamers tag showing he has 32 platinum trophies. Then you wonder how many did he earn, how many did he buy. And then so does everyone else looking at yours. They see your 10 trophies and wonder if you earned any of them or just bought them.

That's the feeling I get when they add microtransactions to in-game rewards. It turns me off from playing it.
