Understandably so as the hdmi in was meant for cable tv which they would not want us to record with their assistance. Just wish it could tell it was a 360 attached but ever a 360 can show copyrighted material so they took the safest way out. |
I was watching TV the other night and saw something interesting on. Silly me said, "Xbox, record that". I've been so caught up on how everything is unified, that I thought the TV show was a game I was playing. 
Then I realized, my cable box is a Tivo. Just hit the record this show option, through my TIvo remote and I was good.. On a side note, "Xbox, record that" will record a game clip while you are snapping a TV show.
