I don't really care, to be honest. It's one of those *shrug* moments for me. As long as my game-play doesn't change, as someone who will not be buying in-game credits, then it truly makes no difference as far as I'm concerned.
In fact, I'm kind of pleased with it. Amazingly, games are not going up in price, which is just awesome--I wonder how many people here remember how much games used to cost--and I kind of think that the rise of micro-transactions is a part of that.
What do I mean? I think that rich kids buying crap rather than grinding for it is helping to keep my own costs from rising. Hell yeah. If that's the case, let the people with excess money keep subsidizing my gaming needs. Milk away--as long as the game itself isn't altered.
