I've not been a fan of the name Xbox One since the beginning because I think it will lead to confusion but Microsoft also has great marketing so maybe they won't have the same issues as Nintendo. Either way I think Sony's way of just going with sequaled numbers is the best way to do it simply because people can relate to it easier without being told to do so.
