I got it, after a 10-15 minute update, keep in mind I'm out of the US with an internet provider that borrows a connection from somwhere in miami. 

1st thing I did was put a music disc in the drive to test if i got a dud or not. and it was all good.

kinnect voice commands have been working at a high accuracy so far for the commands that i do know.

I been in killr instinct's turtorial for like 2 hours with jago, still didnt finsh because my bro was impateient to play. The fruits of my labour poored out as I got his health off green in very quick time frame in which he already gave up and lost interest. Loving that game so far.

I have been Downloading Cod Ghost from the XBL from about 2pm est and now as I post it, t's just around 60% so yeah........very long idownload. Still waiting to see how different that version is from what I was doing on 360. I saved the campaign for the bone.

and you just got XB an extra game pad and COD and it costs you 840$ what's the sales tax in the UK ????

I'm at less than $740 with express shipping an extra pad a charger kit and the import tax and duty cost so if I add game I'm still only at $800

 

but glad to see I'm not the only one sneaking stuff from the US to save money
