Inferior hardware should get inferior products. Why should those who buy the better hardware get lesser games.
This likely extends to MS forcing pay DLC too, are devs who wanted to give away fee DLC last gen, but MS forced them to make people pay for it, so other versions had to force people to pay for it.

could you give a link/source for that claim?

MS enforce DLC costing money. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/l4d1-dlc-pricing-not-valves-decision

lol yah okay... Link != forcing pay DLC but anyway I guess it fits your agenda this way, great analysis :)
Also, "inferior" hardware like you said does not mean inferior games... From many point of view the PS4 is inferior in certain areas; this does not mean that games should be inferior on that system too, this is just dumb. This policy is the opposite and you totaly missed the point, first it is about content and there is NO reason to do not have the same content on both console (there is no way you cannot provide something on the Xbox One version that you can found on the PS4 version)... And if anyone who be penalize it would the Xbox users then as the dev may chose not to provide the same content which another totaly dumb thing to do...
Now the problem is that some fanboys are just taking this statement and undertand it the way they want to fit their own agenda (bashing MS)... Parity in resolution and texture, lol Are you real, no Microsoft is certainly not asking for that... They are asking for content parity and this just a great move from them as they do not want the Xbox gamers to a lesser version of the other systems.

Are you blind? A Microsoft spokeman explicitly said that they "do ask for day one parity with other console game platforms". That statement cannot be any more clear than it is now.

Yes, pretty much.
We talked about this hypothetical Microsoft parity stuff already months ago. We have clues, extraordinary coincidences never seen before in the history of game console (COD/AC4), we have some EA games weirdly 100% similar between versions when the hardware is far from been identical and now we have Microsoft spokeman who explicitely confirms "day one parity with other consoles".
Just connect the dots guys.
