Unfortunately that doesn't really work either. If credits were dirt cheap than the exclusivity of the cars would be completely undermined. You can either take the time, do the grind, and get the top cars, or pay a pretty hefty price tag.
Like many have said, as long as the progression system hasn't been tampered with to encourage these microtransactions, than there is nothing wrong here.
It's all about the game.
