Who cares? People are people doesn't matter the colour of our skin. My hope is one day skin colour won't be how the world defines us, that we'll be each known for our character and how we treat each other and not stereotyped because of the amount of melanin in our epidermis.

Over all world population might be problematic from a resource use PoV, but the relative proportion of white skinned people in the population is irrelevant.

Diversity FTW!

No surprise in the poll result though. It's about as skewed as a PS vs Xb poll.

Diversity FTW?

But if we all mix up then in some very few generations the diverse characteristics of so many ethnic and sub-ethnic groups will be long gone! Are you thinking straight at all!?

Am I the only one who doesn't want there to be blacks/coloureds/reds/whites/browns in every city/school/picture/sports team !?

And am I the only one who doesn't think the above implies I'm a racist!?

What I find baffling is statements such as this:

"Over all world population might be problematic from a resource use PoV, but the relative proportion of white skinned people in the population is irrelevant."

If I went ahead and said, "the black skinned people in the population is irrelevant" then that would be a problem! But here it is not!

I for one wishes our species was more intelligent. As even simple conversations with people are filled with so many ambiguities that I often cringe with pain. What is the problem with engineering humanity's future through controlled eugenics? I suppose it offends the stupid people the most. And they make up the majority of the populace, so there you go. No hope.
