microsoft can afford it i guess is the difference,i don't think the xone will suffer like the ps3 in launch price

but blu-ray was a selling point for me as i wanted HD movies as i'm sure it was fo some others too back 6 years, not everyone is like people you know

Don't be so defensive.

It may have been a selling point for you, but the reality is the price of Bluray pushed many people away from Playstation for a few years. Sony had to eat huge losses to get people back.

thats right and why it wont cost microsoft like it cost sony, its only what £70 difference here but i bought a ps3 because it had a blu ray player maybe i would have bought an xbox otherwise, but your right if sony did ps3 again i dont think they would have gone with blu-ray,launching at that kind f loss/price was not a good strategy

but kinect/voice control etc will be in everything oneday you know kettle on and what not so i don't see the problem with kinect myself it is starting here for us and also these boxes aren't just abut games anymore, they offer more to me anyway, media wise
