I believe that picture is from 'Le petit prince'. A childs book written in 1943 by a French pilot. The book shows the 'weaknesses or shortcomings' in adults versus an unspoiled child.
EDIT: And i know it's supposed to look like Link, and that's the way your using it as an avatar but the original design relates to the prince in the book 'Le petit prince'.
