Not everyone wants universal healthcare you know. People with decent jobs (50k a year) will get worse benefits then there current plans and will have to pay a lot more for taxes to foot the bill. Also Hillary takes more money from lobbyists than any other candidate.
McCain has the advantage of being one of the most senior senators in Congress. If you watch C-SPAN at all you see him all the time, he has a lot of weight on Congress and isn't afraid to call someone out on something even if they are in his party. He's not a perfect guy mind you but he's a hell of a lot smarter than Bush. Personally I think we need someone like Obama who is as honest as they come and he has morals (he refuses to run a single negative ad).
The way I see it:
- Obama = honest guy
- McCain = knows what he's doing
- Hillary = Has great ideas, but seems a bit to power hungry for my taste.
