Should Nintendo just officially Discontinue the Nintendo DS now?

I think the 2DS is brilliant and will continue DS sales for a long time. A lot of people have problems with the 3DS 3D effect and by releasing 2DS Nintendo has dealt with that and created better price points for the DS hardware.
