I only own it because its library is vastly different to my PC and I can play it while I am sitting at my PC. With consoles, especially PS4 and X1, you are paying more, for an inferior experience. I can build a PC superior to the mobile parts in PS4 for around 500.00 Now if I paid 400 for a PS4 I would also need to pay to access online. That is over 1000.00 spent over 10 years. 500.00 more for less in every way. Less options, less power, less games. |
You have an opinion, that means you must be right. lol
Paying for online access on PS4 is only for multiplayer games. Games like warframe, DCUO, etc and apps like Netflix that already have a subscription plan will not be behind a PSN pay wall.
Now here is where I see a flaw in your claim. You can build a PC for $500 that can mimic the PS4 specs. I guarantee you that your $500 PC will have poor performance playing new games 5 years later. PS4 games will be optimise and have better performance without needing to spend for upgrades.
Try building a PC with PS3 specs and run MW3 or MW4 on it. You'll see what I mean.
