What Nintendo needs to do is not make another console with the philosophy like Wii U and 3DS - believe that third parties will jump in early because their last system was so dominant in sales. They need to go back to the Wii and DS philosophy to make innovative games that caters the broader audience and create or invest in second party studios that rival big third party games like GTA and COD. Nintendo doesn't need third party anymore, and if they spend their money efficiently, they can still control the entire industry more like they did in the NES days.
