I was merely making the point that the absence should be significant of something. At least consider that other early gen games still hit the fav lists today such as Halo 3, Portal, Gears, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Lost Odyssey, etc.

You're the one who said it hasn't been featuring on fav lists of recent years. My intent was clear at the outset: In reviewing the games of the generation - recently, i.e. at the close of the generation. I.e. now.

How is one example a sample ? And do not forget my point is not about awards or early praise but about "recently" vs "a while ago" disappearance of MGS IV from fav lists.
