In previous gens, I would happily list many JRPGs that were in my top 10 games but 7th Gen, couldn't say there was 1 I enjoyed, could never get into Valkyria Chronicles. .. actually that's a lie, the best JRPG I played this during 7th gen was FFXII as it came out in March 2007 in the UK.
