Yeah they're profitable now. But that's because when they went third party they had to undergo massive restructuring and lost a lot of talented devs, hence the lowered quality. Nintendo wouldn't have to do the same.. And Sonic Lost World isn't that bad. Just needed more time, which like you, I suspect they didn't have much choice about.
