This. Just like fanboys are big and vocal minorities, but still minorities, amongst console gamers, so elitists and power whores are big and vocal minorities, but still minorities amongst PC gamers. It's vocality that gives the wrong impression in both cases, making them look more than they actually are. BTW it's the same trick used by the most extremist part of no-globals.
PC gaming is not just about power, and not even necessarily. For the majority of gamers PC gaming is about versatility, longer term BC, lower game prices and freedom in many aspects, from the games markets to the ability of setting up free amateur-run servers to moddability and I'm surely forgetting something.
