Yes pricing is a bit stiff atm... If you want an extra opinion i suggest the median solution: The 16gb card. You can store many games and keep your digital library on your ps3 or pc. Thats what i do. Ofc i suggest getting a Plus+ sub, for cloud services and free games :)
