And sorry MTZehvor for hijacking your debate. :P

You need not apologize to me. I'm personally amazed you got him to admit that he was wrong about anything, ever.

Permalite had an argument that was addressing what I said. Your argument was just crazy blabbering and nothing technical. See, when you actually know what your talking about, it helps in a debate. #craziness

...did you really just use a hashtag in a debate?

...seriously?

Well, that's it. I'm out. I'd continue, but it's readily apparent that convincing someone who can't even define a single generation with his contradictory graphical standards is a task that would take decisive evidence or a miracle from Jesus. And in the realms of a definition debate, neither of those seems likely.

Boohoo youve seen how your argument is wrong and now your running away. Me and Permalite are working on a definition for an 8th gen engine and its coming along quite nicely so hah, your point sucks and you cant big up to that fact.

Oh? You've admitted your definition was wrong?

Glad to see you came around to this side of things in the end.

Wrong as in needed refinining not wrong as in it cant be done so soon your argument will be shit outta luck.

Ha ha. I'll be waiting, then.

Glad to see you werent actually keeping up with the conversation.

So far it looks like this - a next gen engine is one that supports real-time global illumination, significantly increased particle count and features of the dx11 api at a min of 30fps @1080p, allowing for upscaling. If a console can do that its next gen otherwise its 7th gen.
