What? Most Brazilian gaming websites I read said that the reception was not good. I don't know if Estadão is a good source for this kind of news. The truth is that I know a lot of people here that bought PS4 from Amazon, but no one that paid R$4000,00. There are rumours that this price is because Sony is selling PS3 very well since it started to be produced here and they want to keep having profit over PS3. The actual price for PS4 should be around R$2000 acording to these rumours or even lower if it was made in Brazil.
I'm impressed that people still think of Brazil like "third world", it is not only outdated as a huge misconception. We have poverty and some other problems here, problems that we see in the USA that is the biggest economy in the world and a very good place to live, but it's really far from what many people from North America and Europe think.

Estadão is at the same level as Folha... or Globo.

I know it is, but none of them is known for good gaming coverage. Although Globo said that not even one PS4 was sold here (http://g1.globo.com/tecnologia/games/noticia/2013/11/por-r-4-mil-playstation-4-chega-ao-brasil-sem-alarde-e-sem-jogos.html). I didn't mean to say that what Estadão published is fake, just that it is not very good for gaming news. I'm just surprised that it is the only place that said that, all other websites, especialized in games or not, said the opposite.
