Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GCN/2003) Guessed by Trucks
I know Double Dash is a polarizing title -- some love it, some hate it -- but to me it's the best Mario Kart experience available, and one of the best local multiplayer games of all time. I can't tell you how many hours I've logged in Double Dash (surely in the hundreds), and it's a testament to the huge replay value of the game. Even after I beat every cup at every speed and unlocked all the games secrets, I was still drawn back to the game, to challenge by friends for bragging rights. What sets Double Dash apart from other Mario Kart games are the tracks, which are designed very well and take advantage of spacing and height better than any game in the series, and of course its two-player-per-cart mechanic, which adds a new level of strategy (and insanity) to each race.
