Don't think so.EU was bigger than US for sony because of the success of 360 in US.

If they ship 1mio in US and 1 mio in EU i'd say they sacrificed EU for US,as huge numbers could have been expected in EU but not in the states.

Considering tha dollar/EU ratio is 1:1.3 and ps4 is supposed to cost 380 dollar in production the US price(399) is a small loss for sony while the EU price is a profit(400 euro=500dollar+)EU was twice sacrificed for US.
