This 2 news regarding monitors give me ... something:
OLED TVs will soon get cheaper

Samsung and LG are producing their own OLED panels, and we hear that they are steadily improving production yields and reducing costs. It is also reported that Samsung and LG are setting up new, larger OLED plants in Korea.
The Chinese display manufacturers will also be joining soon. TCL – the third largest TV maker during some months – has received board approval to build an 8.5G plant to produce LCD and OLED panels. TCL aims to produce 55-inch OLED panels. Construction of the plant will commence in late 2013. Another Chinese display manufacturer, BOE, also has plans to set up an 8G plant to produce OLED panels for TVs, but no date has been announced.
Another interesting announcement came from Kateeva, a US-based company. They have finished work on and announced a new OLED production machine that “prints” OLED panels. It is suitable for mass production and is said to lower production costs significantly.
The CEO says that it has the potential to make OLED panels 30% cheaper than comparable LCD panels – but not from the beginning. The machine can produce OLED panels with 4K resolution in 31” sizes and up. Six 55” OLED panels can be produced in 90 to 120 seconds. The machine will be available to buy for display manufacturers around the world. It is called YIELDJet and is said to be the first of its kind.
Affordable 27 & 32" 4K PC monitors coming soon
http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1385551858
4K PC monitors are still very expensive. Today, almost every 4K monitor is based on Sharp’s 31.5” 4K panel, but starting in Q1 or Q2 of 2014 AU Optronics will start producing 4K LCD panels in 27 and 32 inch sizes. AUO’s panels are usually affordable.
AUO’s panels are often found inside affordable BenQ, Philips, Asus, and even some Samsung monitors. That is why it is exciting to see AUO initiate production of 4K PC panels.
AUO will start producing four panels in 27 and 32 inch sizes. All four panels will feature a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. Two of each will be available, one with sRGB gamut and one with AdobeRGB gamut coverage. Both can reproduce 10-bit by using dithering.
The 4K LCD panels are based on AHVA technology with edge LED. AHVA is a type of IPS panel with wide viewing angles, accurate color reproduction, but relatively weak contrast. AUO says that the contrast ratio of all four panels is 1000:1.
AUO expects to start mass production during Q1 or Q2 2014, so expect to see cheaper 4K PC monitors around that time.
And from [H]ardforum, the panel details

Hm, a "cheap" 24" 1080p OLED monitor or an AHVA 4K 27" one? Not sure...
But I'm sure Permalite would go for the later. Or 3 of the later to be more precise . (j/k)
