Considering it comes from a Witcher 3 dev, a company that is pushing PC/PS4/XO to the limits with W3, I see this more as sending a signal to MS "you have to do something fast, because your version is heavily underperfoming in comparison to PS4 and PC versions". I can easily see the difference between PS4 and XO versions being significant, not just like the (noticeable) difference in resolution in CoD. The more we go into next gen, the bigger the difference will be.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
