This is absolutely nothing like last gen where image quality and performance was pretty much always within 5% of each other.

Its also not a matter of opinion whether or not you will see a difference...you will see a difference on a 1080p screen end of story. Any PC gamer knows this.

If you add in the FPS it is ~88% more pixels. (1440000*60)/(921600*50) = 1.875
