When my ps3 died it just did that earlier, I guess you have little time, make her rest a bit and search about this.

Have you ever changed thermal paste and cleaned the PS3? You may find useful also buying one of those PWM fan accelerator found on ebay, the temperature inside drops significantly if set at 50% (about 15-18degrees celsius LESS) I've heard PS3 FAT goes up to 90°Celsius that is a lot (100°C boils water), my slim went to 70° but accelerating the fan I only get about 50°C. I also saw some guy making a hole under the ps3 fat right where the fan is, it might work too, but be sure to clean the console and apply new silver thermal paste, but a very thin layer and be sure to apply extra pressure bending the holding brackets a bit to get rid of the bubbles between chip and heatspreader. Also your ps3 big heat spreader contact surface might not be 100% plain, this was not rare on some ps3 fat and was the first cause of failure. Take your time reading guides about this!
Have a nice day. Sorry for not being able to say something about the PS4.
ps:there is also another layer of thermal paste UNDER the internal heat spreader (che thing with CELL and RSX written on, the actual chips are under that), I DON'T recommend to change that unless those things can be removed very easily with bare hands, otherwise avoid, it will be hard as hell!). There are a ton of guides on the net for this.

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!
