Oh my.
Gaming is so rapidly declining in Japan it's painful to watch. This week is atrocious. Games flop and hardware bombs. I don't see how the PS4 (and well... XBOne if it'll even sell at all there) will not have the same problems, even after skimming over all the replies here. Everything is either already dead or dying. I mean, VitaTV. What the h*ll, they could just as well discontinue it right now and it wouldn't even matter.
Only the 3DS does something, but it's a far-cry still from the rocket that was the original DS. Realistically it's just Pokémon that sells, and a bit of Monster Hunter. If something isn't done fast in Japan on all fronts, gaming is basically dead at the end of the 8th Gen and almost completely moved to mobile.
