I remember thinking "Wow, this is kinda the best thing I've ever seen" when I first watched the KZ:SF reveal gameplay. I also remember thinking the same thing after seeing the BF4 reveal gameplay, so I think you're right. I'm comparing PC footage to console footage, though, so it's not entirely fair.
