Nintendo is highly secretive about its games, that's never been the case with Sony or their third party parnters. Beyond that it's just common sense, how many Japanese devs can even afford (or have the balls to risk) big PS4 development budgets on many of their franchises? The new Persona game being on PS3 for example is probably a choice that's going to resonate with a lot of Japanese devs, if I'm a Japanese dev I'd rather make a PS3 game, because it has an established userbase and really as a developer I'm not willing to spend more $$$ than the PS3 level budget as is. A lot of Japanese franchises are in the same boat I think ... where's Ridge Racer? Tekken? Dead or Alive? Tales? Ninja Gaiden? There's so many Japanese franchises that unfortunately couldn't find a market last gen on consoles. The final nail in the Japanese console market is coming IMO, with Wii U looking like a flop, I think Nintendo is going to start moving forward full steam with a Nintendo tablet type portable gaming device that has higher end visuals and can perhaps stream to a TV wirelessly ... that's going to be the machine that kills the Japanese home console. |
Im sorry to say this but your just making up shit to fill your argument.
