Are PS/Xbox fans compensating?

Nintendo is always doomed so its nothing new...

But in reality, the wiiU's sales was/is well below expectations... But it is hard to tell if its cause no one wants the wiiU or if Nintendo has done a bad job at marketing it or a combination of both... Heres hoping 2014 will look better
