I purchased my PSP on launch day. It was perfect, no dead pixels which was one of the main problems with the initial PSPs released. I've used it quite frequently and took it to a lot of trips to pass the time. During this usage it has never been dropped and the screen only has minor hairline scratches, nothing that would disrupt gameplay or porn viewing. This month marks the PSP's third anniversary since it's North American release and it was perfect....until I lent it to a girl.

She's had it for only three weeks, repeat, three weeks, and now it's ruined. Apperantly she had it by her bedside table and "somebody" spilled oil on it. Who is this somebody and how come I've never gotten to use this oil? Why do girls keep dangerous PSP killing fluids by their bed? I have not seen the damage myself yet, but she says a large portion is "dark". So it's pretty much gone.

Not all is lost, she did agree to buy me a brand new one...the special edition PSP with Darth Vader on it. I will miss my orignal PSP, but I really can't complain about a free upgrade.
