“I am loving PS4 graphics coding. No more Windows 8 for me. So happy!” - Corrinne Yu

Well this thread isn't flamebait at all.

Anyhow, I've been using for Windows 8 for over a year now and put it on several computers. I give it a thumbs up. I especially love how well it performs on low end machines.

I'm quite sure that after some SPs it will become stable and good enough, judging its overall quality without taking into account personal tastes about the way its interface works, but then it will still be a matter of taste, and just like Win 7 had a lot more success than Vista mainly because making Win 7 MS kept in mind users criticisms about its predecessor, the same will likely happen with Win 9 and Win 8. Even if MS will make workarounds for the things of Win 8 not necessarily wrong or bugged, but that users just don't like, those workarounds will become well integrated features in Win 9.
