No. The poem is a replication of the story of Final Fantasy VII itself, as FFXIII was SquEnix's attempt at recapturing FFVII, it's no wonder it it fits in parts.
But if we are on to conspiracy theories, I have a new one and get thism I think a character called Cid is in all FF games.
