I'm assuming you wouldn't, but I believe a copscan on Stefl would trump that anyway.
A smaller pool is more difficult to hide in any way you cut it, but yes it would mean all 3 townies would have to agree rather than just 3 of 4.(Again assuming it's only 1 scum)
I would rather choose toDay, but seeing as Stefl and you are my top suspects and it could mean a loss to mislynch either, I'd rather get the extra information.
Oh and I'm guessing you were going to say "Linkz kills beloved princess tonight and town loses", but even two back to back nights would leave at worst 2 town vs scum.
