 basket-case words

There was an interesting sentence I read somewhere that said

"If you could send one message to everyone in the world, what would that message be?"

Find what you want to change about the world, and then put all your free energy into doing that. I used to have virtually no motivation for life outside of academic achievement. As you migh imagine, this way of life was pretty shallow and insignificant. But then I was exposed to an issue in the world that I've become very passionate about. I find I'm putting in ALL my free time and passion into a YouTube video I'm working on for a final class project, even though I was technically finished a long time ago. I'm more motivated than ever now that I know I can expose something extremely important to people around the world. The idea that I can change the world - even if it means educating one person about this issue - is a giant motivator for me.

From what I'm getting from your post, it seems like there's nothing in the world that really interests you. If that's the case, then my advice would be to keep educating yourself. You're bound to find a scientific phenomenon that intrigues you, or a social issue that upsets you. In my case it was the latter, and I now find myself learning as much as I can about the issue, as well as educating as many people as possible about it. This is so important to me now that I even feel guilty for not learning about this stuff earlier. If and when you find that topic, grab it and it let it be the passion that fuels your life.
