No need to be offensive. Plenty of people prefer Kinect over the ps camera (that most people have never even heard of), they like xbone exclusives (tItan fall, Killer Instinct, Halo etc) or they've had a great experience with live and also want to keep their achievements. Just because people don't think the way you do, it doesn't mean they're dumb. And yes, plenty of people do buy things blindly.
Having said that, I do somewhat agree with you. This is probably Sony's best vita related move in years. I know that English is not your first language, but people saying that it's a great move are not necessarily downplaying it as you seem to think. They express the same view with less excitement/hyperbole.
