Nope.

If you would have had a Laptop with a 780m then yes but this is not equal to the PS4.

To specify I refer to the GPU.

then stop referring to the GPU and look at the overall picture you donkey

Donkey nice...

I looked at the overall picture and its INFERIOR no matter how you turn it. The GPU is not even half as strong as the one in the PS4 the I7 is above but it wont change much.  The Ram situation is inferior compared to the PS4. The whole system will offer a whole lot less power for graphics processing. Its running a very ressource hungry OS and not to forget Direct X the ressource hog is going to annhilate any CPU Advantages.

Its not equal to the PS4 end of story.

yeah sorry for the donkey part

basically it is obvious that if you start just comparing two aspects of complex systems you will not have a proper comparison

Never mind.

I just mentioned the GPU because there the gap is huge. The CPU has certain advantages but its running Windows 7. Games have to be optimized for Direct X which offers a whole less Draw Calls even on a superior CPU. The DDR3 Ram might be 12gb but its a lot slower than the GDDR5 and not qualified for Graphics computing which needs high bandwith. The 2gb Vram is not enough for next gen games.  The Processing Power of the GPU is alot less and its an older architecture and the mobile variant on a bigger node. Its simply false to say that this laptop provides graphics on the level of a PS4.

Ofocurse NOW there are Laptops stronger than a PS4. The 780m is stronger yet the lack of optimization will eat up some of that power. So I guess a 780m laptop will perform on par atleast.
