he is insane about this. he thinks that random chance led to all things as they are. he is so wrong. it is guided chance. if life can spring up once, it can probably spring up multiple times and i would bet that we are not evolved from the first life on this planet. the first life probably died almost immediately.
not only that, but he uses reverse chance. take a deck of cards and deal all of tehm out and record the order. Then shuffle and repeat. Take a hundred years to try and get those first 52 cards again. u will fail. how many times did u get it? once, the first time. the chances of you getting it again border on impossible, yet cards are not impossible. using the same logic, the first deal of cards shouldnt exist.
